They Hunt. They Gather. They’re Very Good at Talking About Smells.

The few times I hung out with Aboriginals, way up on the Cape York Peninsula, Australia, this amped sense was obvious when observing and listening to conversations when we hunted, fished, sat around the camp fire and travelled through the bush.  At the time I recall focusing  more on how my friend Terry, and the Aboriginals we stayed with, had larger fields of vision than I did. They were able to anticipate events, such as a rush of Boar, flight of birds, bush movement beyond my peripheral vision.
They saw what was going to happen way before I did. Was a great experience!
