Financial Support Available for Travel

New! Travel awards can now be used to cover travel/lodging expenses for caregivers who accompany patients to treatment. 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is pleased to announce the opening of the National Pediatric Travel Fund! This fund serves pediatric blood cancer patients between the ages 0 – 19 years.Those who qualify will receive $500 to cover the cost of treatment-related travel and lodging expenses for the patient and caregiver including: ground transportation; tolls; gas; parking; car rental; car maintenance, repairs and parts; air transportation; baggage fees; lodging; and ambulance services.

Patients cannot receive travel assistance from more than one LLS travel assistance fund in a 6-month periodThe portal and the call center are taking applications for this fund now.

Applications can be submitted via phone at (877) 557-2672, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET or via the online portal 24/7.
